千葉県市原市の化学製品会社の新本社屋の計画。周辺のグループ会社の工場で働く従業員や関係者が集える場所として、従来のように座席数と面積の効率化だけを優先せず、ゆとりのあるオフィス空間の計画としている。オフゾーンと呼ばれるフリースペースの空間は、打合せ、食事、イベントなどが自由に行えるスペースとして、水平からの自然光を取り込み、エントランス、ロビー、吹き抜けと一体的に計画し、広く繋がりのある空間とした。
El proyecto corresponde a la nueva sede central de una empresa de productos químicos ubicada en la ciudad de Ichihara, prefectura de Chiba. Concebido como un lugar de encuentro para los empleados y colaboradores de las fábricas del grupo situadas en los alrededores, el diseño prioriza la amplitud y el confort por encima de la mera eficiencia en el número de asientos o el aprovechamiento del área, como en las oficinas convencionales. El espacio libre denominado “Off Zone” funciona como un área flexible para reuniones, comidas y eventos. Capta la luz natural lateral y se integra con la entrada, el vestíbulo y el espacio a doble altura, generando un entorno de trabajo amplio y conectado.
This project is for the new headquarters of a chemical products company located in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture. Designed as a place where employees and associates from nearby group company factories can gather, the plan prioritizes comfort and openness rather than mere efficiency of seating and floor area, as in conventional offices. The free-space area, called the “Off Zone,” serves as a flexible space for meetings, meals, and events. It brings in natural light from the side and is designed as an integrated environment connected with the entrance, lobby, and atrium, creating a spacious and continuous workplace.
