奈良の餅飯殿商店街に小さなスタートアップの店舗の集合体をつくる計画。商店街の南北の軸と、春日山から流れる暗渠となった率川の東西の軸が交差する敷地に、かつての川辺のような賑わいのある遊歩道の空間を計画した。構造的に繋がりながらも内部空間としては独立した店舗に挟まれた中庭を巡りながら2 階の空中回廊まで導かれるような回遊性を提案した。
El proyecto propone un conjunto de pequeños locales para nuevas empresas dentro de la galería comercial Mochiidono, en Nara. El terreno se encuentra en la intersección del eje norte–sur de la calle comercial y el eje este–oeste del río Itogawa, hoy cubierto, que antiguamente fluía desde el monte Kasuga. El diseño plantea un paseo peatonal animado, evocando la vitalidad del antiguo borde del río. Aunque la estructura está conectada en su conjunto, cada tienda funciona como un espacio interior independiente, y el recorrido invita a los visitantes a desplazarse por un patio central y subir a una pasarela aérea en la segunda planta, generando una experiencia espacial dinámica y atractiva.
This project envisions a cluster of small startup shops within the Mochiidono Shopping Street in Nara. The site lies at the intersection of the north–south axis of the arcade and the east–west axis of the buried Itogawa River, which once flowed from Mount Kasuga. The design proposes a lively pedestrian promenade reminiscent of the riverfront that once existed there. While the structure is interconnected, each shop functions as an independent interior space, and the layout encourages visitors to circulate through a central courtyard and up to a second-floor aerial walkway, creating a dynamic and engaging spatial experience.
