ー何のために建築をたてるのかー
建築と夢
亡くなった師匠、リカルド・レゴレッタの「建築はそれを使う人や訪れる人に夢を与える。」という言葉は、今でも忘れられません。
建築は、雨風を凌ぐといった基本的な機能を満たすものでありながら、また同時にそれだけのものではないと考えています。その空間や場所は時には人に安らぎを与え、時には人の心を打ち、心と密接に関わっています。
建築には、人の生活や人生を豊かにし、また、リカルド・レゴレッタが言ったように、人に夢を与える力があると信じています。単なる機能的な住むための箱ではなく、使う人や訪れる人の心と共にあるような建築を提案したいと思っています。
家と人
家は、そこで住む人にとってもっとも時間を過ごす場所です。
昔は、人は家で生まれ、家で結婚し、家で子供を産み、家で亡くなるということが当たり前でした。現代ではそのようなことはないですが、それでも家はとても重要な場所です。家はそこで住んだ人達の記憶に残ります。子供たちはそこで成長し、家族はそこで思い出を作ります。
人生には嬉しいことや楽しいことだけではなく、悲しいことや辛いこともあります。大勢と楽しく食事をしたい時、休みたい時、家族と一緒に過ごしたい時、一人になりたい時、いろんな時があります。
そんな様々な時間を受け入れることができる、人間味のある家を設計したいと考えています。
物語と舞台
建築は、人にとって時間を過ごす場所、つまり、人生という物語の舞台をつくると考えています。
その物語を豊かなものにするには、舞台としての空間も同様に豊かであるべきだと思います。一人一人にそれぞれの物語があるように、その舞台にふさわしい、たったひとつの建築や空間を用意することが出来ればと思います。

出会い
建築主と設計者の出会いは一期一会だと考えています。一度引き受けた仕事は、設計や現場管理から竣工後の点検や対応までスタッフ一同、責任をもってご一緒させて頂きます。また、建築のお仕事だけに関わらず、いつまでも長いお付き合いが出きればと思っています。
設計の専門家
建築家は、建築や住宅の設計の専門家です。医者に手術や治療を任せるように、料理人に調理方法を任せるように、建築家に設計をお願いすれば、必ず素晴らしい建築や住宅が生まれます。
様々な意向をパッチワークとして提案するのは簡単ですが、そうではなく、それらの想いや願いを整理して一つの統一された建築を提案するのが本当の建築家だと考えています。与条件を確認したうえで、あらゆる可能性について検討、スタディしたうえで、最善かつ魅力的なアイデアを形にします。納得していただけるまで案を練り直しますし、想像していた以上の提案になることも度々あります。
建築家は、思いを実現する、そのお手伝いをする専門家だと思って、その知識、経験、能力を最大限活用して頂けると嬉しいと思っています。
丁寧な設計
妥協を許さない徹底的にこだわった設計を心がけています。時には時間や労力を必要とするときもありますが、それをいとわず、計画のコンセプトに従い、細部までデザインします。プロジェクトの規模や予算の大小は仕事の熱意に関係ありません。
多くのプロジェクトを業務的にこなすのではなく、引き受けたプロジェクトの一つ一つを丁寧に、きちんと仕上げていきたいと考えています。
ー建築のつくり方ー
その場所性や地域性を反映する
その建築が建つ敷地には、位置や形状に加えて、その場所特有の地域性や風土があります。
その地域が培ってきた自然素材や材料、工法や構法を生かした建築の提案をし、その地域性や風土を、建築の中に取り込んでいきたいと考えています。
伝統的なつくり方を継承しながらも、その場所、時代、使われ方によって異なる、固有の建築のつくり方を見つけていきたいと思います。
ものづくりとしての建築
建築は、大工さんをはじめ、多くの職人さんたちの仕事で作り上げていきますが、その職人さんたちの手仕事の技術や腕を生かしたものづくりとしての建築を目指しています。
既製品を組み合わせるだけの建物は簡単ですが、そうではなく、一つ一つのものを、職人さんたちの仕事によって積み上げていき、手仕事でつくる、また、手仕事でしかできないような、そんな建築を心がけています。
構造・架構をデザインする
建築のアイデンティティとして、その骨格である構造や架構も入念に計画し、空間の中で触れる、見てとれるように設計します。それぞれの構造要素は、その建築自体をつくりあげており、張りものをして見えないからどうなっていても良いということではありません。その構造や架構のデザインこそが、普遍的な建築の価値につながると考えています。
構造においては、それ自体に奇抜なものや個性的なデザインを求めるのではなく、そこにいる人たちの物語の背景として相応しい、普遍性のある偏りのないデザインが適していると考えます。使われ方や時間の変化に適応することのできる、柔軟な構造の提案を心がけています。
改修、増改築においても、もともとそこにあるものを修繕しつつ、添え木や接ぎ木のように寄り添いながら、リノベートしていく建築を目指しています。
ー建築のありかたー
世界をつくる
建築を通して、ひとつの世界を作ることが出来ればと思います。
ただ屋根や壁に覆われた部屋を並べて最低限の機能を満たすではなく、豊かな生活をうみだすような特別な空間を用意したいと考えています。それは、快適で心地よく暮らすことができ、なおかつ、その空間やそこで過ごす時間を楽しむことが出来るような世界を作ることだと考えています。
出来上がったその世界で、その人がどのように過ごすのかを、想像しながら設計を進め、その世界で、多くの人が幸せとなれるような建築を目指します。
まちやひとと繋がること
設計では、計画するその敷地内だけのことだけを考えるだけではまだ足りません。
近隣や周辺のこと、都市や町のこと、まわりの人達のことを考える必要があります。周辺また近い将来への配慮が大切です。その建築や住宅が建つことによって、まわりがどのようにあり続けるかについて真摯に、そして前向きに考える必要があります。
周りのことも含めて建築や場所について考えることで、その建築やそこに住む人にも必ず良い影響が跳ね返ってきます。
ただ家を開放してプライバシーやセキュリティを損なうという意味ではありません。都市や町を変えていこうと大きな野心をもつ必要もないです。ただ、玄関先にたった一つの会話できる場所があったり、まわりとコミュニケーションできるきっかけが生まれるようなささいな工夫があると、もしかすると自分だけではなく、まわりの世界が変わるかもしれません。
思いやりの気持ちをもって場所づくりをすることが大切だと考えています。
記憶を紡ぐ風景
建築ができあがると、もともとあった場所に、一つの新しい風景が出来ます。
周辺の場所やまちなみ、また培われてきた歴史の流れに調和しつつ、かつ、住む人、その場所、その時にふさわしいたった一つの提案が出来ればと思います。
まちのなかであれ、自然の中であれ、記憶に残る風景を作っていきたいと考えています。

Arquitectura y Sueños
Las palabras del fallecido maestro Ricardo Legorreta, “La arquitectura es un sueño para quien la usa y a quien la visita”, sigue siendo inolvidable.
La arquitectura cumple funciones básicas como proteger de la lluvia y del viento, pero al mismo tiempo creemos que no es solo para eso. El espacio o lugar a veces les da tranquilidad a la gente, a veces toca el corazón de la gente, y está estrechamente relacionado con sus corazones.
Creemos que la arquitectura enriquece la vida de las personas y, como dijo Ricardo Legorreta, tiene el poder de dar sueños a las personas. Queremos proponer una arquitectura que no sea solo una caja funcional para vivir, sino que esté junto con el corazón de los usuarios y visitantes.
Casa y Gente
La casa es el lugar donde la gente pasa la mayor parte de su tiempo.
En los viejos tiempos, era común que las personas nacieran en casa, se casaran en casa, tuvieran hijos en casa y murieran en casa. Ese no es el caso en los tiempos modernos, pero la casa sigue siendo un lugar muy importante. La casa es inolvidable para las personas que vivieron allí. Los niños crecen allí y las familias crean recuerdos allí.
La vida puede ser triste y dolorosa, así como feliz y divertida. Hay momentos en los que quieres disfrutar de una comida con mucha gente, cuando quieres tomar un descanso, cuando quieres pasar tiempo con tu familia, cuando quieres estar solo, etc.
Nos gustaría diseñar una casa humana que pueda aceptar tiempos tan variados.
Historia y Escenario
Creemos que la arquitectura crea un lugar donde las personas pasen el tiempo, es decir, un escenario de la historia de la vida.
Para enriquecer esa historia, creemos que el espacio como escenario debe ser igualmente rico. Así como cada persona tiene su propia vida, nos gustaría ofrecer una arquitectura y un espacio único como escenario adecuado para esa historia.

Encuentro
Creemos que el encuentro entre el cliente y el diseñador es único en la vida. Todo el personal asumirá la responsabilidad del trabajo una vez realizado, desde el diseño y la supervisión de la obra hasta el mantenimiento después de la construcción finalizado. Además, independientemente de nuestro trabajo en arquitectura, esperamos tener una larga relación con el cliente.
Experto en Diseño
Los arquitectos son expertos en el diseño de edificios y viviendas. Al igual que un médico para una cirugía y un tratamiento, o un chef para cocinar, cuando le pides a un arquitecto que diseñe, siempre tendrás una gran arquitectura.
Es fácil adaptar varias solicitudes improvisando , pero en cambio, pensamos que es un verdadero arquitecto organizar esos pensamientos y deseos y proponer una arquitectura unificada. Después de confirmar las condiciones dadas, consideraremos y estudiaremos todas las posibilidades, y luego formaremos la mejor y más atractiva idea. Repensaremos el plan hasta que los clientes estén satisfechos y, a menudo, la propuesta será más de lo esperado.
Creemos que un arquitecto es un experto que puede ayudarlo a realizar sus pensamientos, y esperamos que aproveche al máximo nuestros conocimientos, experiencia y habilidades.
Trabajo Minucioso y Cuidadoso
Intentamos diseñar a fondo sin transigencia. A veces lleva tiempo y esfuerzo, pero estamos dispuestos a hacerlo y diseñar cada detalle según el concepto del proyecto. El tamaño del proyecto y el monto del presupuesto no tiene nada que ver con el entusiasmo del trabajo.
En lugar de hacer muchos proyectos sobre una base empresarial, me gustaría terminar de manera cuidadosa y adecuada cada uno de los proyectos que emprendemos.
-Cómo hacer arquitectura-
Refleja su Características Regionales y Naturales
Además de la ubicación y la forma, el sitio tiene las características regionales y naturales.
Nos gustaría proponer una arquitectura que haga el mejor uso de los materiales naturales, los métodos de construcción que la región ha cultivado e incorporar estas características regionales y naturales en la arquitectura.
Si bien heredamos la forma tradicional de construir, nos gustaría encontrar una forma única de hacer arquitectura que difiera según el lugar, el tiempo y el uso.
Arquitectura como Mano de Obra
La arquitectura es creada por el trabajo de muchos artesanos, incluidos los carpinteros, y nuestro objetivo es construir como una manufactura que haga el mejor uso de las habilidades de los artesanos.
Los edificios que solo combinan productos prefabricados son fáciles, pero en cambio, intentamos construir cosas apiladas por el trabajo de los artesanos, que se hace a mano o solo se puede hacer a mano.
Diseñar Estructura y Marco
Como identidad arquitectónica, diseñamos cuidadosamente la estructura y el marco que son el esqueleto, y tratamos de que se toque y se vea en el espacio. Cada elemento estructural constituye el edificio en sí, y no creemos que no importe lo que suceda aunque esté oculto e invisible con la tapicería. Creemos que diseñar la estructura y el marco conducirá al valor arquitectónico universal.
En términos de estructura, creemos que un diseño universal e imparcial es adecuado para ser el fondo de las historias de la gente, en lugar de buscar un diseño inusual o misterioso en él uno mismo. Estamos tratando de proponer una estructura flexible que se pueda adaptar a los cambios de uso y tiempo.
En los proyectos de renovación, mientras se repara lo que originalmente estaba allí, nuestro objetivo es renovar el espacio uniendo los elementos como férulas e injertos.
-Cómo debe ser la arquitectura-
Crear Un Mundo
Esperamos crear un mundo a través de la arquitectura.
En lugar de simplemente organizar habitaciones cubiertas con techos y paredes para cumplir con las funciones mínimas, nos gustaría crear un espacio especial que genere una vida rica. Creemos que es para crear un mundo en el que puedas vivir cómoda, y aún así disfrutar del espacio y el tiempo que pasas allí.
Procederemos con el diseño imaginando cómo pasará la persona en este mundo diseñado, y intentamos a realizar la arquitectura que hará felices a muchas personas en su mundo.
Conectando con Pueblo y Gente
Al diseñar, no es suficiente pensar en lo que planea hacer dentro del sitio.
Debes pensar en su vecindario y alrededores, tus ciudades y pueblos, y las personas que te rodean. Es importante considerar el área circundante y el futuro cercano. Es necesario pensar seriament y positivamente en cómo seguirá existiendo el entorno a medida que se construyan la arquitectura y las viviendas.
Pensar en la arquitectura y los lugares, incluidos los que te rodean, seguramente tendrá un efecto positivo en la arquitectura y las personas que viven allí.
No solo significa abrir su casa y comprometer su privacidad y seguridad. No es necesario tener grandes ambiciones para cambiar ciudades y pueblos. Architecture and Dreams
The words of the deceased master Ricardo Legorreta, “Architecture gives dreams to those who use it and those who visit it,” are still unforgettable.
Architecture fulfills basic functions such as protecting from rain and wind, but at the same time we believe that it is not only for that. The space or place sometimes gives people peace of mind, sometimes touches people’s hearts, and is closely related to their hearts.
We believe that architecture enriches people’s lives, and, as Ricardo Legorreta said, has the power to give people dreams. We wants to propose architecture that is not just a functional box to live, but one that is along with the hearts of the users and visitors.
House and People
The house is the place where people spend most of their time.
In the olden days, it was common for people to be born at home, get married at home, have children at home, and die at home. That’s not the case in modern times, but the house is still a very important place. The house is unforgettable for the people who lived there. Children grow up there, and families make memories there.
Life can be sad and painful as well as happy and enjoyable. There are times when you want to enjoy a meal with a lot of people, when you want to take a break, when you want to spend time with your family, when you want to be alone, and so on.
We would like to design a humane house that can accept such various times.
Story and Stage
We believe that architecture creates a place for people to spend time, that is, the stage of the story of life.
In order to make that story rich, we believe that the space as a stage should be equally rich. Just as each person has a life of their own, we would like to provide one unique architecture and space as a stage suitable for that story.

We think that the encounter between the client and the designer is once in a lifetime. All the staff will take responsibility for the work once undertaken, from design and construction supervision to maintenance after completion. Also, regardless of our work in architecture, we hope to have a long relationship with the client.
Design Expert
Architects are experts in design of buildings and houses. Just like a doctor for surgery and treatment, or a chef for cooking, when you ask an architect to design, you’ll always have great architecture.
It is easy to adopt as patchwork various requests , but instead, we think that it is a true architect to organize those thoughts and wishes and propose one unified architecture. After confirming the given conditions, we will consider and study all possibilities, and then form the best and attractive idea. We will rethink the plan until the clients are satisfied, and often the proposal will be more than expected.
We think that an architect is an expert who can help you realize your thoughts, and we hope that you will make the most of our knowledge, experience, and abilities.
Thorough and Careful Work
We are trying to design thoroughly without compromising. Sometimes it takes time and effort, but we are willing to do it and design every detail according to the concept of the project. The size of the project and the amount of the budget are not related to the enthusiasm of the work.
Rather than doing many projects on a business basis, I would like to carefully and properly finish each of the projects we undertake.
-How to make architecture-
Reflect its Regional Characteristics and Natural Features
In addition to the location and the shape, the site has the unique regional characteristics and natural features.
We would like to propose architecture that makes the best use of the natural materials, construction methods that the region has cultivated, and incorporate these regional characteristics and natural features into the architecture.
While inheriting the traditional way of building, we would like to find a unique way of making architecture that differs depending on the place, time, and usage.
Architecture as Manufacturing
Architecture is created by the work of many craftsmen, including carpenters, and we aim to build as a manufacturing that makes the best use of the craftsmen’s handicraft skills.
Buildings that only combine ready-made products are easy, but instead, we try to build things piled up by work of craftsmen, which is made by hand, or can only be done by hand.
Design Structure and Frame
As an architectural identity, we carefully design the structure and frame that are the skeleton, and try to make it be touched and seen in the space. Each structural element makes up the building itself, and we don’t think it doesn’t matter what happens although it is hidden and invisible with upholstery. We believe that to design the structure and frame will lead to universal architectural value.
In terms of structure, we think that a universal and unbiased design that is suitable as the background of the stories of the people, rather than seeking something unusual or mysterious design in itself. We are trying to propose a flexible structure that can adapt to changes in usage and time.
In renovation projects, while repairing what was originally there, we aim to renovate the space attaching the elements like splints and grafts.

Create A World
We hope to create a world through architecture.
Instead of just arranging rooms covered with roofs and walls to fulfill the minimum functions, we would like to create a special space that creates a rich life. We think it is to create a world where you can live comfortably and comfortably, and still enjoy the space and the time you spend there.
We will proceed with the design imagining how the person will spend in this designed world, and try to realize the architecture that will make many people happy in its world.
Connecting with Towns and People
In designing, it’s not enough to just think about what you plan to do inside the site.
You need to think about your neighborhood and surroundings, your cities and towns, and the people around you. It is important to consider the surrounding area and the near future. It is necessary to think seriously and positively about how the surroundings will continue to exist as the architecture and housing are built.
Thinking about architecture and places, including those around you, will surely have a positive effect on the architecture and the people who live there.
It doesn’t just mean opening up your house and compromising your privacy and security. You don’t have to have great ambitions to change cities and towns. However, if there is only one place where you can have a conversation near the entrance door, or if you have a little ingenuity that creates an opportunity to communicate with others, you may change not only yourself but the world around you.
We think it is important to create a place with compassion.
Unforgettable Scene
When the architecture is completed, a new scene will be created in the place where it was originally.
While being in harmony with the surrounding places and towns, and the history that has been cultivated, we would like to make a proposal that is suitable for the people who live, the place, and the time.
