京都市左京区、岡崎黒谷の金戒光明寺の三門脇に位置する喫茶の計画。既存の２階建ての町家を改修し、1階には、キッチン、カウンター席、水回り、2階には客席を配置した。1階では、3つの回転扉を開くことで、アプローチや奥庭といった外部空間と一体的に繋がり、に外の風景を取り込んだ風通しの良い土間空間とした。1階と階段室や吹抜けで繋がった２階では、新しく計画した窓から、金戒光明寺や東山の風景が望める場所としている。
El proyecto corresponde a una casa de té situada junto a la puerta Sanmon del templo Konkai-Kōmyō-ji, en Okazaki Kurodani, distrito de Sakyo, Kioto. Se renovó una machiya existente de dos plantas: en la planta baja se ubicaron la cocina, la barra y las instalaciones de agua, mientras que en la planta superior se dispuso la zona de asientos para los clientes. En la planta baja, tres puertas giratorias permiten abrir el espacio hacia el acceso y el jardín posterior, creando un área de suelo de tierra (doma) abierta y ventilada, integrada con el exterior y bañada por la luz natural. La segunda planta, conectada con la inferior mediante la escalera y un espacio de doble altura, ofrece vistas del templo Konkai-Kōmyō-ji y de las montañas de Higashiyama a través de las nuevas ventanas proyectadas.
This project is for a tearoom located beside the Sanmon Gate of Konkai-Kōmyō-ji Temple in Okazaki Kurodani, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto. An existing two-story machiya townhouse was renovated: the first floor accommodates the kitchen, counter seating, and water facilities, while the second floor contains the main seating area. On the first floor, three revolving doors open the space to the approach and the rear garden, creating an open doma area that connects seamlessly with the exterior and allows natural light and airflow to enter. The second floor, connected to the first by a stairwell and double-height void, offers views of Konkai-Kōmyō-ji Temple and the Higashiyama mountains through newly designed windows.
